Tangee Coleman, Owner/Director

I am privileged to bring over 25 years of experience in educating and teaching children, supported by a diverse array of credentials and extensive training in all aspects of operating and implementing high-quality programs as mandated by governing regulations. For the past six years, I have served as the Preschool Director at Potential Christian Academy, where I played a pivotal role in its development. What began as a Mom’s Day Out Program was successfully transformed into a thriving preschool, now known as Potential Preschool Academy, to enhance enrollment. Over the past two years, this transformation has led to significant growth in enrollment, including the addition of elementary students in kindergarten and first grade. Concurrently, I held the role of Children’s Ministry Director at Potential Church, further broadening my leadership and program development expertise.

I am a proud and active member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education with an ESE Endorsement from the University of West Florida. As a lifelong learner, I continually seek opportunities for professional development and growth. My credentials include the National Directors Credential, the Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, and certifications in Trauma-Informed Care. I have also completed advanced coursework through the Department of Children and Families (DCF), the Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services (BEESS) leadership courses, SCORE, the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), and The Business & Leadership Institute (BLI).
